Plum Tree Blossom   –   I know this is turning time back by some weeks, as the plum tree blossom has long since gone over to give way to the tiny beads which should, in time, turn into sweet, juicy, Queen Victoria plums. That is the theory, anyway, completely discounting negligible aspects such as the (non-)abundance of bees at time of flowering, erratic weather, careless birds and hungry insects.

But not to worry –  in case you hadn’t realised, which you may be forgiven for, this image is not about the blossom at all.   This past week or two we have been having the most glorious weather here in Moray, which is – sadly – predicted to come to an end tonight. Before it does, I had to put up an image which depicts those sunshine gorged days, and I felt the almost flawless blue sky in this photo says it all!
