I have no words …   2 comments

This one is a bit contentious, it shows life as it is, and it isn’t always pretty.

I must confess I have mixed feelings about this image myself, mainly because, as a gardener, I rely on frogs and toads to do their work in the garden, and having witnessed a decline in numbers in recent years already, I was none too pleased to find one of the few left had become supper for this crow.

But such is life, and with Halloween just last Tuesday, I should get away with posting such a gruesome thing. No?

Another one from my walk on the beach in Burghead, with the evening sun lighting up the dunes.

There is nothing like a walk in the evening to revive your spirits. This is from yesterday, on the beach in Burghead, looking over the Moray Firth.

Cairn Uish Windfarm near Rothes  (I think ;-)) with the low evening sun on it     –   I can never figure out why wind turbines are so contentious. I would rather have them than coal fired or nuclear power stations spewing out all sorts of (not so) nice things any day. Not to speak of the irreversible damage those do.
