This little fellow is taking advantage of seeds scattered by birds, in May this year. I know spring is a distant memory, but I never tire of our bushy tailed friends  🙂

Goldfinch   –  Nothing special for most, but twofold for me, firstly they haven’t visited the garden often so far and secondly I have never managed to photograph one. In fact, I am not used to photographing wildlife full stop (it tends to move!!), especially as colourful as this.

Folk who have seen my flower images will know that I like to artificially saturate the colours somewhat, but found with the sun shining on his plumage this guy doesn’t need it at all.
