Freesia – There is not much to say about this one, really, except I love freesias, and when the light caught this one I had to pick up the camera…playing with such narrow depth of field still needs work, but hey, there wasn’t much time to loose before the light would disappear so for a quick decision result this isn’t too bad I think. I hope.

Dianthus / Pinks – It has been a long time since my last post, because things have been so manic in the garden. The season is nearing its end, so I should be able to post a little more regular again for a while. This is one of my pinks, on a sunny morning after a night of lots of rain.

Calendula   –   A much underrated cottage garden plant. Come rain or shine, there they are without fail, cheering up miserable souls with their bright and intense yellow and orange hues.
